A day in the life – Julie Landry
Want to get to know our Vintage players a little better? Read on to find out what a typical day is for rookie Julie Landry.
6h-6h15: Wake up
6h15-7h15: I always start my day with a big glass of cold water, and then an omelet (two eggs, red onion, peppers, mushrooms, spinach), toasted whole wheat pita and half of an avocado. Then I make my lunch (which is often leftovers from the night before) and snacks for the day. I also get my workout gear ready.
7h20-7h30: Leave for work.
8h-8h15: Look for a parking spot.
8h30-16h30: Take CT scans of children of all ages. My morning snack is usually banana with a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. Lunch is leftovers from the night before, with plain Greek yogourt. Afternoon snack is usually 1/2 cup of cottage cheese in which I add fruit a handful of nuts and mint leaves.
17h: A little nap in my car.
17h30: At the gym: Cardio 2x8min intervals on the bike, followed by weights, strength and sprint training. I also stretch and use the foam roller. Within 30 minutes of training I have a snack of chocolate milk and an apple.
19h30-20h: Return home. For supper: Chicken stir-fry with lots of veggies in oyster sauce with cilantro and walnuts. For dessert, two truffles (dark chocolate). Mmmm!
21h30: Shower, dishes and a little clean up and then I watch an episode of Arrow.
22h30-22h45: ZZZZZzzzzzzzz.
