June 7 dawned bright, sunny and warm, just the weather you want when you are organizing a women’s hat tournament called Summertime Vintage. The 65 women who attended were divided into five teams, and each team had a few Vintage players to lend a hand and some experience. Ladies of various ages and levels joined together to play four one-hour games, listen to some great tunes, and bask under the hot sun (or hide out in the shade). Players also enjoyed snacks, fruit and bagels provided by Vintage, Max Guy and Fairmount Bagel, as well as MVP prizes and giveaways.

Thanks to everyone who supported Vintage by attending the tournament! With your help, we raised about $800 that will be used to help fund the team’s trip to Italy in August to represent Canada at the World Ultimate Club Championships.
